Spring, Finally!

DSC_0555

I think I heard somewhere that it hasn’t been above 60 degrees for 6 months where I live.  Needless to say, it’s been a dark, cold season and I think we all are ready for the sun to show itself.

Yesterday, it was around 75 degrees in the evening and not too sunny, but just enough.  I went outside with my camera and took photos of the few blooms I could find around our terribly landscaped apartment complex.   I just wanted to share them with you all.  I guess I was just too excited that it was finally starting to feel like Spring again.

Now, I know you’re thinking, “why did she post a picture of her car? That has nothing to do with spring.”  Well, for me it does!  When it’s warm, my bf and I clean our cars like it’s going out of style.  Sometimes twice a week.  I can’t stand a dirty car.  I especially pay a lot of attention to my wheels and can’t stand to have even a speck of brake dust on them.  Yuck! Well, we just spent about an hour at the car wash, which is typical for us.  I wash it with just the high pressure soap and water, no brush because it will scratch the clear coat.  Then, using a piece of leather we dry the car, which is an awesome material to use because it’s extremely absorbent and doesn’t have any loose pieces to scratch the surface.  If I were to recommend any car cleaning products, there are two that deserve recognition: 1) clay and 2) Meguiar’s quick detailer.  Trust me, these are two of the most amazing products out there.  😀  In a nutshell, I’m just really happy it’s spring and I can be outside cleaning my car and just soaking up some sun!

Also, if you’ve any idea what some of these plants are called, let me know!  I studied human anatomy in college, not botany 😀  No excuse I know!

Best,

M.

  1. 안녕하세요! These are really beautiful pictures! Spring looks like a beautiful season. Where I’m from the climate is tropical so we only have two seasons. I think it’s a blessing to be able to experience four different seasons. There’s beauty in each one.

    1. 안녕 🙂 Spring is beautiful and if it could be this way all year long, I’d be ecstatic. Sometimes I wish I lived in a warmer climate year round. The different seasons are unique and beautiful in their own way, but the change in barometric pressure affects the body quite a bit. Gosh, I’m such a debbie downer 🙂

  2. Hi, I have been looking for pesonal experiences of OCD for a short story I am writing so your blog should be very helpful! Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the like of my photo. 🙂

    1. I have heard AZ and India are both beautiful, warm places, which is something I envy! Sounds like you’ve had an adventurous life 🙂 (This coming from someone who has never lived outside of IN!)

      1. I hope you have the opportunity to travel, as it is the best education in the world. Never miss an opportunity…it will get into your blood! Namaste. . .. Anne
