In case you haven’t heard already, I started an Etsy store just this weekend called “Peony Crochet”. It features some of my crochet work. Even though I haven’t made any sales yet, I am so impressed by how many of you have visited my storefront! I can’t believe the support I’ve received already. I just want to take the time to say THANK YOU. It means more to me than you know. I’m so happy to be able to share some of the things I’ve been working on with you all.
Here’s the link to my store if you would like to check it out: PeonyCrochet.
I chose the peony as my store icon because it is the state flower of Indiana, the state in which I’ve lived my entire life and where I’m currently living. It’s also one of my favorite flowers, next to the rose and hibiscus 🙂 Just in case you were curious as to why I chose the name.
Since starting my blog, I’ve been shocked and amazed by how much support I’ve received in comments, likes, follows, and even the occasional gift. My tattoo fund was over in about a week because of all of those who donated. I’m still on the waiting list with the artist, but only two months to go! I’m so excited.
More recently, I got this in the mail:
This is a sewing pattern for pet clothes! It was on my Amazon Wishlist and one of my dear blog friends surprised me with it. Thank you Rachel Ibers 🙂 This is the #1 project on my summer project to-do list. Please check out her blog Dinnertablescience .
This year is going to be about thanks for me. I’m not going to set myself for failure by making a huge list of resolutions. There’s only one thing I want to focus on and that is gratitude. I just want to work on being thankful for the wonderful, good things in my life and to stop focusing on the bad. I have so much to be thankful for, but often don’t take the time to see those things for what they are: gifts.
Thank you everyone for all that you’ve done and are continuously doing for me. May you be thankful this year too!
