I’m finally relaxing a bit after such a long day. I had to work a bit late to get some things done, but K was kind enough to make a good dinner. I just finished making a new batch of my homemade deodorant. It’s the best deodorant I’ve ever used and it’s lasted me for months now! I will never buy deodorant again.
Even more exciting news, the hat I made for a Boston terrier named Otis and his human, a fellow blogger named William Kelly, finally arrived at their doorstep. Please visit his blog Existence at It’s Best to see the hat on Otis. I went off of some measurements that we both kind of guessed at and the hat turned up a tad too short, but it works for the most part. Luckily, William knows how to crochet, so he can easily add a few rows to the front.
Here are the pictures I took. Not quite as cute as the ones with Otis, but you’ll get the idea:
William contacted me through my store, PeonyCrochet, and asked me to make this little hat for his doggie Otis because the freezing winter air was hurting Otis’s ears.
Otis is way cuter than my model in the first picture 😉 BTW, that’s Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch! I’ve had that thing since the 90s and it still makes noise just like the day I first got it. I forgot I had that until, as a joke last Christmas, my brother wrapped it up and gave it to me. We’ve done that for years, wrapping up creepy and/or old things that we forgot about. We used to have like 4 copies of Dr. Dolittle on VHS and every year someone would regift it. I don’t know why we had so many copies. I think it was because we got them as gifts from various people. We had to get creative and wrap the VHS in different boxes, so no one would suspect. 🙂
One more thing, I’m offering 15% off at my store (non-custom requested items) until the end of March! Just use the code PEONY2014 at checkout 🙂 I know, I’m advertising, but I love to crochet and I love to share it with my loyal followers.
That’s all for today!
Thanks so much for reading,
